Hi if you guys could get back to me about your planned spaces for exhibition before or on Monday morning, Martina is wanting everyone's plans, so to organise space.
I'm not sure if we have a briefing on Monday, but we should get together anyway to sort out names etc. Hope everyone is getting on OK, and not crawling around the floor in a panic.
A quote to keep you going....Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!
Dr Seuss
Oh that is so funny, if I was not in a roaring panic, I would be able to remember it long enough to recite it to calm down!!!! I hope to still use the hollow box in the wall and possibly the wall area under it, (to prop up my post cards fixed onto a piece of hardboard)?
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet chosen a space, but i think i'll need a collumn/pillar with space around it, and a wall very close to it to put up a small shelf. I'm very happy to come in on monday, that's the day we're doing the BIG clear up right? i'm in nottingham this weekend, coming back monday morning, so will be in Mcr from about lunch-ish! XO
ReplyDeleteI just need a space to suspend either one or two pieces of fabric (depending how many are successful) but they can be anywhere. The fabric pieces are 35mm wide by 1.5m long.
ReplyDeletePip thats only confused me, have I forgotten to do something? Have I not thought about something ?? haha Sorry I have been in the Print room the last two days. I am hanging a large long print, 2.5 metres long approx and 35cm wide, so would like something to hang it off, I think there is a ladder near our space that I like the look of, it only drops from the ceiling a little bit.

ReplyDeleteDr Seuss has cured me! :) I am no longer using the pillars that stand on the floor. Instead I am hanging my wire structures on the pipework attached to the ceiling that is to the left of Louise. They are up in Hotspur House now I just need to attach the wishes to them :)
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone, Wow! it all sounds SO exciting, I really cant wait to see it.
ReplyDeleteHurrah I've finally finished my summery, feeling frazzled and cross eyed, but now I can continue with the fun stuff!!
