Colour and composition for Bonnie

After seeing the work Bonnie had done for unit X, thought she might appreciate these gorgeous illustrations that celebrate colour.

They are by Patrick Caulfield, who was an English painter and printmaker, known for his bold canvases, which often incoprated elements of photorealism.

During the sixties he was often associated with the pop art movement, however in the seventies his work focused more on realism and still life, yet with a modern twist and bolder colours.

Caulfield paintings resemble advertisements as he hides all paint brush lines and traces of marks by outling his images with bold black lines.

Hope Bonnie and the rest of you feel inspired or find this useful!
